Admissions Prerequisites/Requirements:
Reference letters, a personal statement, minimum GPA, and transcripts along with an application are the similarities Avalon shares with Canadian medical schools, as part of the admissions requirements.
In addition, medical schools in Canada require an MCAT score of 124, a list of extracurriculars, and the computer-Based Assessment for Sampling Personal Characteristics (Casper) is required. Even if these requirements are met, Canadian medical schools have only an average acceptance rate of 20%.
