Diversity is addressed about individual characteristics of campus community members such as race, gender, sexual orientation/identity, religion, political philosophy, age, and socioeconomic status, among others. Diversity is essential to fulfilling AUSOM’s mission and in achieving the vision of training world-class physicians.

The Avalon University School of Medicine has Adopted the Following Goals for Diversity:
