Celebrating the Holidays as a Caribbean Medical School presented by Student Government Association

Avalon University School of Medicine prides itself on its ability to graduate competent practicing physicians and its students ability to build an inclusive community. Avalon University’s Student Government Association (SGA) works hard to celebrate Avalon’s diverse student body. The Student Government Association strives to observe significant holidays in a way that makes students feel at home.

The Student Government Association recently hosted a celebration in observance of Thanksgiving and Christmas. SGA invited all students and faculty to join in a potluck dinner and a candle lit holiday sing-along. To close the event everyone, together, blew out their candles and wished each other happy holidays.

Though our medical students may be away from home for the start of the holiday season, they will find holiday cheer is in no short supply at Avalon University!

Happy Holidays to all and to all a good night!
