After completing medical school in 2014, Dr. Tariq Yousuf went on to complete an Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Illinois, Chicago in 2017. Since then, Tariq matched into a Cardiology Fellowship at Tulane University. He has currently published over 20 manuscripts during his Internal Medicine training.
Recently, he stated “I have been very much enjoying the Cardiology Fellowship at Tulane. A few things stand out that I would like to share — I was able to publish a review article on ACC with the Chair of the program, and I represented Tulane for the local ACC Jeopardy games that we won first place. I acknowledge that I have come this far because of the amazing clinical training, mentorship, and experiences I gained during my time at Avalon University School of Medicine.”
His achievements are a testimony to his hard work. Congratulations Dr. Tariq Yousuf! You are an AUSOM doctor!
