Note : *Supplies and Instruments will be required when attending Clinical skills courses – please be prepared to bring the following items when attending Clinical skills courses

  • PD kits are MANDATORY for the Clinical Skills Course starting at MD1

Please bring following supply with you:

  • 1 Box of Disposable (Non-Sterile) Gloves
  • Metal Paper Clips (or Cotton-Tip Applicator Swabs)
  • Stethoscope (popular brands are Littman and Welch Allyn/Harvey)
  • Ophthalmoscope/otoscope (also called a diagnostic set – popular brands of these instruments are Heine and Welch Allyn)
  • Otoscope Specula (preferably 4.25 mm Adult)
  • Pocket penlight (mini-Maglites or halogens work great – the brighter, the better).
  • Reflex Hammer
  • Pocket (preferably Rosenbaum) Eye Chart
  • Cotton Balls (or Cotton-Tip Applicator Swabs)
  • A blood pressure cuff with adult cuff (sphygmomanometer) (Blood Pressure Apparatus) (popular brands are Heine and Welch Allyn/Tycos).
  • Straight-Edge Ruler (or straight-edge of Eye Chart)
  • Tape Measure
  • Tongue Depressors
  • Wrist Watch with Seconds Hand (recommended; optional)
  • Tuning Forks (2) Hearing – 512 Hertz, ibratory Sense – 128 Hertz.
