I started out my journey at Avalon back when it had a different name and was located on a different island. The one thing that never changed, however, was the dedication and determination of the AUSOM faculty and staff to provide the students the very best educational experience. I was fortunate to have completed my medical studies at Avalon, in a truly supportive atmosphere conducive for learning. I have to single out a few people that made this journey so great for me (Dr. Arja and Dr. Bala on the island and Kim and Michelle in the Ohio office). Thank you all for your encouragement and support over the years. I feel well prepared to begin the next chapter of my professional career at UMKC!
