Medical school prepares future doctors to handle almost any situation that comes their way. Faculty and Staff of fully accredited Caribbean Medical School, Avalon University School of Medicine work hard to prepare students to walk alongside their patients through some of the best and worst times in those patients’ lives. Avalon University provides our students with the book knowledge and practical experience to communicate effectively, treat patients with kindness, and lead with wisdom.

The month of October is internationally known as breast cancer awareness month. Fully accredited Caribbean Medical School, Avalon University School of Medicine did not want the month to end without acknowledging the bravery of individuals, both men and women*, who are suffering with this terrible illness. Avalon University also wishes to acknowledge the amazing stories of those individuals who fought and won their battle against these malignant cells. * Currently there are 3.8 million survivors in the United States. * These survivors deserve to be celebrated. Those individuals who are still striving, deserve a community that comes together to fight with them and for them as they and their medical professionals fight for the day that the patient is cancer free!
